Burrrrrrr it's cold here this morning. My hands almost froze when I was walking back from breakfast. Only 7 more working days and we're out of here.

Thurs morning ND, two other friends and I drove to Paradise Valley to do a hike at Pine Creek. It was a beautiful walk to the water falls. Afterwards we had lunch at the Pine Creek Lodge.
When we got home three of us did a turn around and headed out to Trout Lake to do a hike. It was 5:00 when we left here, we didn’t get home until 9:30. We were hoping to see otters but later found out we left too early, they were out and playing about 20 minutes after we left. It was beautiful there, the wildflowers were blooming all over the mountain.

Today we had planned to do a hike near Old Faithful
but ended up going to Bozeman instead. By the time we did our errands we knew we would never make it to Fairy Falls so we just messed around in Bozeman until about 2:30.

I can't believe we only have three weeks left. We aren't ready to leave.

There's lots of flooding in the area

ND and I both bought Nikon D90’s on Thurs.
Nancy's son, Buddy, his wife, Karen and son Drew flew in Thurs afternoon to visit with us. We headed out to Canyon at 5:00!! We got down there, saw the falls, took some pictures and headed back to Mammoth where we had dinner in the “real” dining room.

On Friday we took off in the direction of Roosevelt. We stopped at some falls, some boardwalks and at Roosevelt itself.
We had lunch at Lake. They really loved the restaurant. We went on down to West Thumb and did the thermals there. Then we drove over to Old Faithful, walked around on the boardwalk, watched Old Faithful go off and then proceeded on to Midway Geyser Basin to see Grand Prismatic Spring.
We drove back to Mammoth and once again had dinner in the dining room. We all had lots of fun.
