We left Radium Hot Springs this morning and drove to Banff.   We walked up and down the streets but decided not to go into any stores so that we could do it with Bill and Mary Ann when they arrive. We walked to the beautiful and historic Banff Springs Hotel for a look around.  Then it was down the hill to Cascades of Time Gardens with its stone pathway and colorful flower beds.  After that we walked along the river to Bow Falls and the scenic views across the river to the Banff Springs Hotel. 
    Later we drove to Canmore where we met Bill and Mary Ann.  They were exhausted when they arrive but we managed to have a drink with them and a light dinner.
