When we went out to pack the car this morning it was snowing!! We were thrilled. The hood, roof and back of the car were covered with ice and snow. Nancy found a clothespin and scraped it off the front window.
Nancy had wanted to go back into Santa Fe this morning to buy a bracelet she saw yesterday but we decided with the cold and snow that the Indians wouldn’t be sitting outside selling their wares at 8:00 in the morning. We got on the road to Page, AZ instead.
We took the scenic drive, the Turquoise Trail from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. It really was a pretty drive. It was nice to be off the interestates for a short time.
We ate in our favorite Mexican restaurant in Page tonight.
